Ensuring a healthy whenua for generations to come
We’re at the forefront of ecological restoration, nurturing the whenua and waterways back to health.
Our Environmental Services
Our passionate Mahi Taiao team clear the land of pests and invasive species and revegetate our native species to help restore our land and our waterways.
Land & Catchment Restoration.
We support landowners, councils, government and communities to restore land and waterways, fostering a healthier environment for all.
Our dedicated team works to restore native biodiversity and protects riparian areas through large scale reforestation and planting, invasive plant management, and predator control. With projects across the Whakatipu basin, including a large-scale restoration project across the catchment of Wai Whakaata / Lake Hayes and the planting of 130,000+ plants to date.
Our team are experienced in the planning, consenting and civil works required to install sediment traps. Our two sediment traps reduce nutrient loading and improve the quality of the water. By reviving natural ecosystems, we’re paving the way for native flora and fauna to flourish. Already, we’re seeing birds returning to the area and nesting.
