Providing Better Futures for our Whānau

We support whānau in drug and alcohol counselling, community service work and rehabilitation services, as well as food insecurity programmes.

Kai Packs / Food Bank

A kaupapa provided by Māori for Māori.

We have been supporting whānau for over 12 months through providing kai to those in need. This initiative was a response to COVID-19 and continues today.

Ngā mihi atu ki a Engage Safety for the packing and delivering of each Kai Pack.

We now have a MOU with Kiwi Harvest to ensure we can provide kai to whānau within our community.

Nā tō rourou, nā taku rourou ka ora ai te iwi. With your food basket and my food basket the people will thrive.

Community Support

Mana Tāhuna holds 2 Drop-In sessions a week. These sessions are for any member of the community to come and kōrero about any troubles they may be facing.

We are helping members of our community restart their journey with guidance on health and overcoming addiction.

We work together to discuss different options you can take and assist further where we can.

There is no problem too big or small.

Ka ora pea au i a koe, Ka ora koe i a au.

Perhaps I survive because of you and you survive because of me.
